Terms and Conditions — The Emanuelson Firm, P.C.

These Terms govern text messaging between The Emanuelson Firm, P.C. (“Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and individuals who communicate with the Firm by SMS/MMS (“you”). By texting our messaging number, opting in, or continuing a text conversation with us, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1. Program description
The Firm uses SMS for transactional and conversational communications related to our legal services and firm operations, including appointment/meeting reminders, case or matter status updates and follow-ups, replies to inquiries you initiate or ask us to send by text, and administrative notices from Firm staff or authorized digital assistants acting for the Firm. This program is not a marketing blast or promotional advertising service.
2. Who may message you
Messages may be sent by Firm personnel or by systems and digital assistants authorized by the Firm operating on the Firm’s behalf.
3. Consent
You consent when you text our messaging number, provide your mobile number and request/agree to texts, or otherwise clearly indicate consent. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Providing a number for SMS is voluntary.
4. Message frequency
Frequency varies. You may receive up to several messages per day when actively communicating with the Firm, and otherwise typically fewer than 10 messages per month, depending on your matters and requests.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier’s rates apply. The Firm does not charge a separate SMS fee.
6. Carriers
Available on major U.S. carriers; delivery subject to carrier networks. The Firm is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Opt out
Text STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. You will get a confirmation and we will stop SMS to that number (except a single opt-out confirmation if required).

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
10. Eligibility
Intended for adults (18+) and lawful Firm-related communications.
11. Legal-communications disclaimer
SMS is a convenience channel and may not be appropriate for all privileged, time-sensitive, or confidential matters. Do not assume a text was read until you get a reply. Urgent matters: call the Firm. These SMS Terms alone do not create an attorney–client relationship; engagement is governed by the Firm’s engagement letter and applicable law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; the current version will be at this URL. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
